Christian Ed Ministry
The mission of Christian Ed is to encourage spiritual growth through educational and fellowship opportunities.
One of the ways we do this is by offering
Sunday School classes for
people of all ages. These classes are offered every Sunday between worship services, from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
Youth classes meet from September to the first week in June and follow the David C. Cook curriculum which
is Bible based. Adult classes are offered weekly, monthly and quarterly, depending on teacher and class preferences.
Topics cover a variety of topics from angels to parenting to specific books of the Bible.
Another area of Christian Ed is the
library. Located in Room C, print,
audio and video materials are available for browsing or checking out. We even have photo albums
containing pictures of church members and activities from many years ago.
Christian Ed also offers the
Small Group Ministry. There are as many
as 12 small groups meeting during the year, sometimes at the church
and sometimes at people’s homes. There is always an open chair and
the hope is that the group of friends becomes so large that it
splinters into more groups. Topics vary, according to interest.
The groups meet once a week and spend the time together fellowshipping,
worshiping, studying and praying.
